Our Mission Statement

To glorify God
through knowing, proclaiming, and serving
Jesus the Christ.
 

The First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard proclaims that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, and practices the biblical teachings of the Christian faith by word and deed. We strive to use our gifts to spread the message of salvation. We are committed to nurturing personal, spiritual growth journeys through meaningful worship, enriched music, life-changing education, and intergenerational fellowship which is intended to strengthen, challenge, comfort, and heal church family members as well as reach out to the community as a whole. Our focus is to build on existing sound programs and initiate new relevant ones. We strive to revitalize active members and reclaim inactive members by honoring treasured traditions while embracing the vision of creating new ones.

As a relational church, First Presbyterian is a member of Eastminster Presbytery and The Synod of the Covenant. With our own and other presbyteries and synods, through the Offices of the General Assembly located in Louisville, Kentucky, Presbyterians support many regional, national and international missions.
